Bowral Tennis - Junior/Advanced Training Squad Programmes.

START DATE FOR TERM 2 2023 is FRIDAY MAY 5th. 

Training squads at Bowral Tennis Club are designed to provide intensive hitting sessions for competition standard children. The key elements involved in these training sessions are:

• stroke drills to improve consistency and accuracy
• practice directional patterns that are common in match play
• fitness and footwork drills
• develop a team atmosphere through which kids learn and improve together

Squad sessions are held on Friday afternoons every week of the school term.

Squad #1 Junior: *NEW TIME* We are going to do the new time of Friday 5.30.  We will have 2 coaches running both this squad and the advanced squad.   Eligibility: Thursday and Monday afternoon comp participants are eligible for this session.  

Squad #2 Advanced: Fridays - 5.30pm to 6.30pm. Eligibility: Monday and Friday comp participants are eligible for this session.
